Shri Subhash Chandra addressed the inauguration of Madhav Netralaya City Centre in Nagpur that opened on March 18, the auspicious day of the Bharatiya New year.
Subhash ji also paid homage to former Sarsanghchalak of the RSS Revered Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar Guruji.
In his speech at the inauguration ceremony he says, “In our country over 75-80 lakh people pass away every year however the number of eye and organ donations are only done in thousands.”
“There is need to also make some changes in the laws to facilitate more number of people to opt for organ donation,” he adds.
Acknowledging how eye donation could give a new lease on life to lakhs of people in our nation, he appealed to people to not only pledge to donate their eyes but other organs too.
The eye hospital was inaugurated by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat along with Revered Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj, Revered Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj,Honourable Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, Honourable Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda and Honourable Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis.
