Shri Subhash Chandra delivered his address at the 49th Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s Prantiya Adhiveshan that was held in Hisar.
In his address, Subhashji speaks about the tradition in the business community of giving back to the society and how one-tenth of the profit would always go to charity. He further goes on to explain the reason behind starting the Subhash Chandra Show, “About 3 years ago, my father told me that the business knowledge that I had collected in the past 50 years is no less than an asset, which too can be shared with the society.”
Narrating an interaction that he has during the Subhash Chandra Show in Kashmir where one of the members of the audience asked why the doesn’t media do anything about the situation in Kashmir? To allow a free flowing and open discussion, Subhashji asked the cameras to be switched off. Elaborating further he says that youth in Kashmir believes that the rest of India seems to be against them and that everyone thinks of them as terrorists.
“We as the media are responsible for this image of Kashmir where negative news is given more prominence over positive news about the state,” says Subhashji.
In response to the discussion Subhashji had said, “I asked, what is religion? Neither Hinduism, nor Islam, nor Buddhism, nor Christianity, religion is only sanatan, which is thriving only by the creation of the universe.” Explaining more he had added, “Sanatan means truth, in which one human cannot even think about harming another human. Sanatan is the only religion, everything else are just different methods of worshiping. Sanatan Dharma is the religion which runs from zero and is up to infinity, and not what some people have publicized it as these days.”
He urges the youth of the nation should extend a helping hand towards the youth of Kashmir.
Talking about his involvement as a Swayamsevak he says , “I was 10 years old when I became a Swayamsevak. Today I am 67. Even today when I meet people of my age, I see that there is no feeling of ‘country before me’. The only reason for this is that no one has explained this to them, and I have got this education from the values of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.”
