At the launch of the new weekly, ZEE Marathi Disha, Union minister of state Shri Ramdas Athawale addresses the audience in his unique style and shows confidence in the new initiative.
He starts his speech with a poem that speaks about how keeping their differences aside political leaders from across the state have come together
He says, “Politicians on stage were all together for the cause of Maharashtra despite their political differences.”
“Our parties may be different, but our language is Marathi, our backgrounds may be different but we are all from Maharashtra” he adds.
He praises Shri Subhash Chandra and ‘Zee Marathi Disha’ editor-in-chief Vijay Kuvalekar stating that the paper will give a new direction to the state, “Subhashji, we are proud of you and this new experiment.”
He says that Maharashtra was a progressive state which had produced icons like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule and Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, and lauded the launch of the weekly, while adding that ‘ZEE Marathi Disha’ will take a right direction.
