In an interview for the 14th India Wharton Economic Forum, Dr. Subhash Chandra shares his story.
He says since the beginning he wanted to be among the top players in the industry whichever business he ventures. Talking about his earliest experience as an entrepreneur he said that he had to leave his college midway to take over his family business which was under loss. Subhashji says since his early days in business he had an objective in mind and worked towards it. He says, I always pursued in my mind that I want to be number one in any given business or a strong number two.” Talking about the competition he says that he is not intimidated by international multinational and purely serves to his viewers.
Subhashji also explains the importance he gives to talent, he says, “Experience can be gained, skills can be imparted, but talent required for doing a job is something you either have or not.”
