Shri Subhash Chandra flags off marathon on day two of SABKA Khel Utsav in adopted villages in Haryana

Giving the youth his blessings, Shri Subhash Chandra says that he is confident the event will grow even bigger in the coming years.

Flagging off the marathon on the second day of the SABKA Khel Utsav in the five villages adopted by him in Haryana, Shri Subhash Chandra addressed the gathering there. He thanked the people and the local authorities for supporting the event and said, “We will organize it every year and with each year it will grow bigger and bigger. This is my hope and conviction.”

“We are getting full support from the Zilla Parishad to help make the villages of Sadalapur, Adampur Mandi, Khara Baravala, Kishangar, and Adampur into ideal villages. We are very thankful for your support and I am sure this support will continue even in the coming years,” he added.

Talking about the swift development in the recent years he said, “I am happy to say that work of about 80 crores has either been completed or is going on in these villages already and there are several projects in the pipeline as well. I am confident that these villages will rank high in progress reports as compared to the rest of Haryana. Our representatives from the Subhash Chandra Foundation and SABKA Vikas Sangh will also be setting up an office here and ensure there will be work being done continuously.”

“We will also rope in the Centre and follow up on the work related to announcements made by the Chief Minister. We are also getting funds from the Subhash Chandra Foundation and from the MP fund so that it can be used for furthering the work here,” he added.

Speaking about sport activities in Haryana, he acknowledged the contribution of the people in making it the number one state to earn titles and medals for India. He gave his well-wishes to the youth and urged them to aim higher. He said,  “As I always say, nothing is difficult if you have conviction and determination in your heart.”

After the event, Subhash Ji presented cycles to the the winners of the marathon and other sports and also to ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers, and inaugurated the offices of S.A.B.K.A Development Association.
