Shri Subhash Chandra attended the 49th  Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad’s Prantiya Adhiveshan on Saturday in Hisar. In his address, he spoke about several subjects of national and international interest.

Speaking about giving back to the society he said that it has been a tradition for us to give 10% of the profit to charity year after year, we do give a lot more than that. He added that his father, 3 years back, told him that all the business knowledge that he has collected in 50 years is also an asset that one should give back to the people. That has been the intention behind the Subhash Chandra Show.

Referring to his visit to Kashmir, Subhashji said that, before that show, the administration told him that since there are over 3000 youths that will be attending the show there are chances that someone may ask or say something untoward and it will be difficult to stop them.

He further said that, that is exactly what happened. He was asked about why the media does not bring out certain subjects. To which Subhashji said that if you wish to speak without any inhibitions we can and the cameras were switched off to allow an open dialogue.

Subhashji elaborated on the subject and said that the issue that brought forth was that: The youth there believe that the entire of India is against them and considers them terrorists. He added that, we as a part of the media are also responsible for spreading this misconception among the people.

In response to the discussion Subhashji said, “I asked, what is religion? Neither Hinduism, nor Islam, nor Buddhism, nor Christianity, religion is only sanatan, which is thriving only by the creation of the universe.”

Explaining more he added, “Sanatan means truth, in which one human cannot even think about harming another human. Sanatan is the only religion, everything else are just different methods of worshiping. Sanatan Dharma is the religion which runs from zero and is up to infinity, and not what some people have publicized it as these days.”

Talking about his involvement as a Swayamsevak he said , “I was 10 years old when I became a Swayamsevak. Today I am 67. Even today when I meet people of my age, I see that there is no feeling of ‘country before me’. The only reason for this is that no one has explained this to them, and I have got this education from the values of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.”
