Martyrs' Day: Subhash ji pays tribute to those who gave their lives for India

Shri Subhash Chandra also recalls Mahatma Gandhi's teachings on his death anniversary saying that they gave India a new identity in the eyes of rest of the world.

In India, each year January 30, Mahatma Gandhi ji’s death anniversary, is marked as Martyrs’ Day in honour of those who sacrificed themselves for the freedom of India.

Shri Subhash Chandra remembered the unmatched service done by these remarkable people for the nation. He posted on Twitter showing his gratitude towards the selflessness of those who laid their lives in the fight to freedom of their beloved motherland.

In his tweet he saluted the brave souls that died serving their motherland, India. He hailed their courage and sacrifice stating that it will continue to inspire fellow countrymen. Father if India, Mahatma Gandhi ji and the thousands of martyrs, who laid down their lives for India will always remain in our hearts.

Paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi ji on his death anniversary, Subhashji tweeted that: Your teachings of ‘truth, non-violence, and humanity’ have given the Indian way of life a new identity in the world.
