Announcing the Mumbai Kumbh on social media, Shri Subhash Chandra tweeted that the who’s who of the city will be participating in the event to discuss their views on the significance of Kumbh.

As a precursor to the Prayajraj Kumbh that will commence on January 15, 2019, the seminar in Mumbai will discuss the significance of the Kumbh. Sharing his views, Subhash Ji said, “Kumbh is our national heritage which not only has spiritual and scientific significance but also has economic importance. Like Yoga, even Kumbh is India’s gift to humanity. Mumbai Kumbh is a platform to discuss ideas about Kumbh, it’s a Vaicharik (ideological) Kumbh.”

In December 2017, the UNESCO declared Kumbh Mela as ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity’. “Organizing Kumbh reflects our culture of preserving our environment,” said Subhash Ji urging everyone to join in.

At the seminar, Subhash Ji will be joined by Union Culture Minister Shri Mahesh Sharma, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, Maharashtra CM Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Goa Governor Smt Mridula Sinha along with Senior RSS leader Shri Bhayyaji Joshi and film industry veteran Shri Subhash Ghai.

The Mumbai Kumbh organized by the Naimisharanya Foundation will be held on Wednesday, September 5 at ISKCON auditorium Juhu, 5:30 PM onwards.
