Bharat's gift to America on International Day of Yoga, YO1, a holistic wellness centre in New York: Shri Subhash Chandra

Shri Subhash Chandra speaks about how Yoga has garnered global interest, how YO1 came to be, and recognizes the contribution of those who made this possible.

Shri Subhash Chandra spoke at the opening of YO1 Luxury Nature Cure at Catskill, New York. Taking the stage, he thanked everyone present there for taking out the time to come for the opening. Recounting his dream of taking India’s ancient teachings of wellness overseas, he said “On this day our dream is coming true.”

He congratulated the entire community and humanity on the International Day of Yoga. He praised the efforts taken by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi for taking Yoga to the world, “Today Yoga is practiced in thousands and thousands of places in over 110 countries. Over 1500 Yoga teachers have been sent all over the world by the Government of India led by Modi Ji.”

The facility will provide natural care therapies based on the ancient Indian disciplines of  Yoga-Pranayam, along with Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Hydrotherapy, Physiotherapy and Acupuncture.

As PM Modi Ji joined the opening via video conference, Subhash Ji welcomed him and thanked him for joining. He mentioned the proclamation by the New York Senate and the Citation that he was honored with at the New York State Assembly that acknowledge and recognize PM Modi Ji’s initiative of International Day of Yoga.

Subhash Ji gave his vote of thanks to those who have invaluably contributed to the completion of the YO1 centre. “First and foremost, I want to thank my friend Sant Chatwal, who 12 years ago, while we were sitting in Jindal Nature Cure Institute told me to put up such a centre in America. Thank you very much Chatwal Ji.” Subhash Ji also gave his thanks to Dr. Sitaram Jindal of Jindal Nature Cure Institute who helped design the YO1 centre. He also thanked Dr. Madhav Kutty of Arya Vaidya Sala, Kottakal ad 125 years old institution.

“I thank my father, brothers and my family. Those who have made me fearless to take courage to put up such ventures and they stay with me till I make these success,” Subhash Ji added. He also thanked Shri Mark Kutsher and family who gave the place in Monticello for building the centre.

He thanked Shri Adam Cassidy for finding the place to set up the centre. He also gave thanks to Shri Ajey Kumar, Shri Abhay Jain, Shri Gaurav Bidasaria, Architect Shri Mike McCormack, Construction manager Shri Bill Goodrich, and Shri Gautham Jain.

Subhash Ji concluded by thanking the Senators, Congressmen and women and the Assemblymen.
